Activity: Delivered the Art of Interviewing programme to help students learn how to interview people successfully.

A 12-month project to design and undertake my own 12 month curriculum for under £1000.  To do this I made use of everything that's on my doorstep (such as books on my own bookshelf or local events) and resources further away (e.g. my networks and/or online resources).  For more info, please click here.

Design module from Newcastle Science City with life briefs for design students, including new concepts for 'Personal Warmth' and 'End of life products and Services.

• Designed and managed live design briefs with Industrial Design students 
• Ideas fed into Newcastle Science City's Innovation Machine pipeline
• Built and managed relationships between Newcastle Science City and Northumbria University
• Overcame issues regarding IP

Delivering the module over the course of 8 weeks / one term. Students were encouraged to design a product or service and work in teams to deliver and present their ideas and business models. Delivered a brief that encouraged students to design products so they are better for people, planet and business. ​
